About this product

The Spot Zero Mobile Pro is a wheeled reverse-osmosis water purifier you plug into any dockside tap. It strips the dissolved minerals out of the water before it reaches the boat, so a wash-down dries without spots, streaks or chamois work, and the same water fills the tanks with bottled-quality drinking water. Spot Zero describes the output as purer than bottled water; its reverse-osmosis systems remove up to 99 % of dissolved solids.

It is built for boats of 40 to 85 ft (12–26 m) and for crews who move between marinas: a single-piece anodised 6061-T6 aluminium frame with all the plumbing inside it, non-marking feet, quick-release wheels, and a backlit LCD with capacitive touch controls on the side that tracks filter and membrane hours and system performance. Why owners in Thailand buy it

Marina and yard water in Phuket, Pattaya and the Gulf is hard. Every hose-down leaves mineral spots on glass, gelcoat and stainless, and the only cure has been a crew with chamois. The Mobile Pro removes the problem at the tap: rinse the boat and walk away. It is also the simplest way to put bottled-quality water in the tanks without buying bottles.

Storage and recommissioning follow the same procedure as the Mobile Pro Mini: storage chemical circulated with an auxiliary pump at no more than 30 psi for lay-ups over a month, then a new pre-filter and a 30-minute flush to waste before use.

Warranty

Spot Zero's standard limited warranty on mobile units is 12 months, parts only, from the date of manufacture or the reseller invoice. Spot Zero's Gold extended warranty adds a further year or 1,000 hours (parts only) and can be bought at any time during the standard term.
