Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we confirm dispatch (or confirm a special-order lead time with you). If something is mispriced or out of stock we’ll tell you before taking payment — obvious pricing errors don’t bind us.
Prices & currency
Prices shown exclude VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate at checkout or on invoice. Delivery is charged as set out in Shipping & Delivery. Where your card or bank converts currency, any conversion fees or exchange differences are yours.
Quotations
Written quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Until payment is received, quoted prices remain subject to manufacturer price changes and exchange-rate movements — we’ll always tell you before taking payment if something has moved.
Stock & special orders
Items marked special order are brought in specifically for you: they require payment in full at the time of order, cannot be cancelled once ordered from the manufacturer, and are non-returnable except when faulty. All lead times, shipping times and delivery estimates — on this site or quoted personally — are given in good faith; we’ll always keep you informed if anything changes. If you’re unable to take delivery of a special-order item within 30 days of its arrival with us, we may charge reasonable storage.
Payment, ownership & risk
We politely remind customers that all property — intellectual and physical — remains under Drake Marine’s ownership until the order is paid for in full, including any shipping and duty fees. Should any amount remain unpaid for more than 30 days, we reserve the right to recover our property at our discretion. We’d far rather talk than collect: if you have a payment difficulty, contact us early and we’ll work something out. Risk in the goods (loss or damage) passes to you on delivery, or on handover to your nominated carrier or agent — ownership passing later doesn’t shift that risk back to us.
International orders, customs & duties
For orders shipped outside Thailand, you are the importer of record: import duties, taxes, brokerage and destination charges are your responsibility unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing, and customs processing times are outside our control. Delivery to a marina office, boatyard or nominated agent counts as delivery to you.
Transit insurance
We offer transit insurance on freight shipments and recommend it for high-value orders. Where you decline insurance, this is noted on the invoice and loss or damage in transit beyond the carrier’s standard liability is at your risk.
Order verification
To protect our customers and ourselves from fraud, we may ask for verification on high-value or unusual orders, and we reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we reasonably suspect is fraudulent.
Events beyond our control
We’re not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — port or customs closures, carrier failures, extreme weather, manufacturer supply failures and the like. If such an event drags on, either of us may cancel the affected order and we’ll refund what’s been paid for goods not delivered.
Product information
We work hard to keep specifications accurate (much of our catalogue is written from manufacturer spec sheets), but manufacturers change details without notice — if a specific parameter is critical to your installation, confirm it with us before ordering.
Installation & suitability
Marine electrical products must be installed correctly to be safe and to keep their warranty. Advice we give is based on the information you provide about your boat and systems; final responsibility for installation rests with the installer.

The content of this site — product write-ups, guides, photography and design — is our intellectual property. You’re welcome to share links; please don’t reproduce our content commercially without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for it, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. haul-out costs, lost charter time).

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and disputes are subject to the Thai courts.
General
These terms, together with the Shipping & Delivery and Returns & Warranty pages, are the entire agreement for your order. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Placing an order confirms you’ve read and accepted these terms.
