About this product
Sacrificial hull anodes protect your hull, stern gear and every bonded underwater fitting by corroding first — the anode is consumed instead of your boat. This 12 kg zinc anode bolts to the hull and connects to the internal bonding circuit; anode quantity and placement depend on wetted surface area, so ask us if you’re sizing a scheme from scratch.

MG Duff has been the UK’s leading name in marine cathodic protection since 1956, casting anodes at its own Chichester foundry with every melt batch-tested for alloy composition. Their zinc alloy meets US military specification MIL-A-18001K.
Inspect anodes at least annually and replace once 50% consumed. Never paint or antifoul an anode — coatings stop it working. Correct electrical bonding is essential; ask us if you are unsure about your bonding circuit.
