About this product
DataCell 1 is Merlin's networked battery monitor for installations that need to know exactly how much energy is left in each bank — and to do something about it automatically. It monitors up to four independent banks at 12 V or 24 V, reporting voltage and percentage state of charge with an algorithm that, unlike amp-hour counters, never runs out of synchronisation with the batteries.
Data is available on the optional LCD or LED remote panels, over CAN bus to multifunction displays and vehicle dashboards, and via RS232 to logging or telemetry systems. Built-in inputs and outputs trigger alarms or auto-start a backup generator when a bank runs low. The OEM version is the bare module for integration into a builder's own panel.
