The DMT1250 DC – DC chargers are the smart alternative for leisure or commercial use. They provide the ability to charge batteries from two input sources; either via a PV solar panel(s) when stationary or via from the engine/alternator while driving.

Choose the output by the house battery bank and the alternator: a bigger bank recharges faster with more amps, and the charger should draw comfortably less than the alternator can give. Tell us the vehicle or boat, the alternator and the bank on LINE and we will confirm the model.
Install it right
KISAE's recommended fuse, maximum cable length and cable size for the DMT1250:

Connect an ignition or engine-running signal to the Control terminal so the charger only draws from the starter battery while the engine runs; this is what makes it work with smart alternators. Solar input: up to 500 W of 12 V panels (600 W maximum). The 2 × 30 A fuse listed in the specification is inside the charger; the fuses in this table are the external ones you fit at each battery and at the solar input. Ingress protection IP32; operating range −20 °C to 60 °C.

The DMT1250 charger and owner's manual, plus the BTS-10K battery temperature sensor we add free. Cable, fuses and lugs are not included; the remote display is an optional extra.
Questions
Will it charge lithium (LiFePO4) batteries?
Yes. Lithium is one of the selectable battery types, alongside Gel, AGM and Flooded, and Program mode lets you set the charge voltage your battery maker specifies.
Does it work with a smart (variable-voltage) alternator?
Yes. Wire the Control terminal to an ignition or engine-running signal and the charger keeps charging when the alternator voltage drops.
Is it in stock?

What about warranty and returns?
It carries KISAE's manufacturer's warranty, and we handle any claim for you here in Thailand. Unused items can be returned within 30 days. Full details are on the returns page.
