SE100 IP tunnel bow/stern thruster 24V — 100kg of thrust (116kg at 24V), sized by Sleipner for boats of 12-17m (39-56ft). Standard on/off version, ignition protected for petrol boats and wet stern installations. Fits a 185 mm tunnel and can be installed in the bow or, with a Sleipner stern tunnel, at the stern.

What you get, and what to order with it

This is the thruster unit: motor, gear leg, twin propellers, motor bracket and electronics. To complete a new installation you also need a 185 mm tunnel (GRP, aluminium or steel to suit the hull), a control panel, an ANL 325 fuse and holder, and battery cable sized to the run. The matching items are listed under “You may also need” below, and we will check the whole kit against your boat before it ships.

• Intelligent Power Control (IPC) — minimal delay on direction change to reduce wear, with solenoid monitoring that stops the thruster automatically if a contact locks in
• Q-Prop™ five-blade skewed propeller — Sleipner measure up to 75% less noise than a conventional propeller
• Galvanic separation between motor and gear leg to protect against stray-current corrosion
• Overheat protection — shuts down (on/off models) or derates (PRO models) before the motor is damaged
• Ceramic shaft seals et sealed drive lubrication — no oil feed to plumb
• Flexible installation — mounts at any angle on the tunnel; the motor can be turned 90° on the bracket

Power and battery

Draws 340A at 24 V for a 2–3 minute duty cycle. Sleipner specify a battery of at least 680 CCA (EN) close to the thruster and an ANL 325 fuse.
