SAC450 tunnel thruster Ø386mm 230V — 450kg of continuous thrust, sized by Sleipner for commercial vessels, motor boats and sail boats of 22–35 m (72–115 ft). An AC tunnel thruster running from the vessel’s 208-240V 3-phase supply. Fits a 386 mm tunnel and can be installed in the bow or stern. Variable-speed control over S-Link.
What you get, and what to order with it
This is the thruster unit as supplied by Sleipner. AC thrusters run through a motor drive (frequency converter) matched to the model and the vessel’s supply — Sleipner list the drives separately, and we specify the drive, cabling and control with you. You also need a 386 mm tunnel and an S-Link control panel (a PJC211 or PJC212 joystick, or a Sleipner touch panel). The matching items are listed under “You may also need” below, and we will check the whole system against your vessel before it ships.
