EX70C External stern thruster 24V — 67kg of thrust, sized by Sleipner for motor boats of 9.5–13 m (31–43 ft). An external stern thruster that mounts outside the hull — no tunnel to cut — for boats where a stern tunnel is impractical. On/off control from a standard Sleipner panel.
What you get, and what to order with it
This is the thruster unit as supplied by Sleipner. You also need an on/off control panel (8960 single or 8940 dual joystick), an ANL 100 fuse and holder, and battery cable sized to the run. The matching items are listed under “You may also need” below, and we will check the whole kit against your boat before it ships.

Power and battery
Draws 175A at 21 V nominal. Sleipner specify a battery of at least 340 CCA (EN) and an ANL 100 fuse. Size the cable with our battery bank and cable size calculator, and use the thruster size calculator to confirm EX70C is the right size for your boat.
