ERV250 eVision retract bow/stern thruster 48V — 250kg of thrust, sized by Sleipner for motor boats and sail boats of 22–30 m (72–98 ft). A brushless eVision retractable thruster: it deploys below the hull when you need it and retracts into its housing when stowed, so there is no open tunnel and no drag under way. Variable-speed control over S-Link and continuous run time at full thrust.

What you get, and what to order with it

This is the thruster unit as supplied by Sleipner. Retract thrusters install in their own hull housing — the installation manual below gives the hull cut-out and mould dimensions. You also need an S-Link control panel (a PJC211 or PJC212 joystick, or a Sleipner touch panel), an ANL 325 fuse and holder, and battery cable sized to the run. The matching items are listed under “You may also need” below, and we will check the whole kit against your boat before it ships.

Power and battery

Draws 350A at 42 V nominal. Sleipner specify a battery of at least 595 CCA (EN) and an ANL 325 fuse. As a 48 V model it needs a 48 V supply at the thruster — usually a dedicated bank close to the unit, which we can specify with you.
