Matched JL Audio boat audio systems

Each system pairs a head unit, speakers, a subwoofer and an amplifier whose channels and power suit each other. The quantities are pre-filled, so one click on Add to cart buys the complete system, and you can remove any part you already own.

• Day Boat: MediaMaster 50, a pair of M3 6.5″ RGB speakers, an M6 8″ subwoofer and the M500/3 amplifier. For centre consoles and day boats.
• Sport RGB: MediaMaster 50, four M6 6.5″ RGB speakers, an M6 10″ RGB subwoofer and the five-channel M700/5. The classic cockpit-and-bow layout.

How to choose a boat audio system

Speakers: one pair for a small cockpit, two pairs (cockpit and bow) for most sports boats and centre consoles, three pairs or more for larger boats with a helm, saloon or flybridge. 6.5″ speakers fit most panels; 7.7″ speakers give more output where there is room.

Subwoofer: an infinite-baffle (IB) subwoofer mounts in a console or bulkhead and uses the large air space behind it. If there is no such space, choose the enclosed-use M6 10″, which works in its own box.

Amplifier: give each speaker its own amplifier channel and the subwoofer its own channel. The M700/5 covers four speakers plus a subwoofer, the M500/3 and MX600/3 cover two speakers plus a subwoofer, and the M600/6 covers six speakers.

Installation: we recommend fitting by a marine electronics installer, who will size the power cable and fuse and set the amplifier gains.

Yes. Delivery is free on our weekly Trang, Krabi and Phuket run, and we send by courier to Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Koh Samui and everywhere else in Thailand. International orders are welcome: freight is quoted at cost and invoiced separately.

Can I buy a complete system in one go?

Which system suits my boat?

Count the places you want sound. Two speakers suit a small day boat, four suit most sports boats and centre consoles, and six or more suit larger cruisers. If you are unsure, send us your boat model and layout and we will suggest a system.
