เดอะ Spot Zero XZ II is the flagship: a SeaXchange XTC II watermaker and a ZTC II double-pass purifier engineered into a single system. Seawater goes in; fresh water comes out of the first stage; the second stage takes that water down to about 10 ppm for spot-free washdown and bottled-quality drinking water at every tap. When the boat is alongside, the same purifier runs on dock water.
It is supplied in modular or compact (stacked) frames, so it fits where the engine-room drawing allows: stacked units with locally mounted membranes, or a remote-mount configuration with the filters and membranes elsewhere. One 7-inch touchscreen runs both halves.

*Double pass is the total output when seawater is turned into spot-free water with the watermaker and purifier running together. Spot Zero positions the XZ II as its "Explorer" package: dock water and seawater in, pure water out, with Bluelink connectivity, the two-in-one RO design and auto-sensing smart switching between seawater and dock feed.
| อุปทาน | Max draw | ความถี่ | Phase |
|---|---|---|---|
| 230 V | 5.0 A at the dock (purifier only); 19.0 A at sea (both stages) | 50 / 60 Hz | ชิ้นเดียว |
Spot Zero notes that production capacity can be affected at 50 Hz: the pump motor turns slightly slower on a 50 Hz supply, so a system installed for Thailand is sized with that in mind. Tell us the daily water need and we will specify the capacity that delivers it on 50 Hz.
| Stacked control units (purifier over watermaker) | 538 mm W × 604 mm H × 315 mm D (21.2 × 23.8 × 12.4 in); 90 kg (200 lb) for the two control units |
|---|---|
| Modular control units | Two separate boxes, each 311 mm (12.2 in) high, mounted where the space allows |
| Locally mounted membranes (top view) | 1,140 mm L × 442 mm D (44.9 × 17.4 in); stacked units 604 mm high |
| Locally mounted filters and membranes | 1,140 mm L × 442 mm D; stacked units 669 mm (26.4 in) high |
| Purifier membranes (FW) | 2000 GPD: one vessel 1,134 mm × 187 mm, remote or local; 3000 GPD: two vessels 1,140 mm × 419 mm, remote or local |
| Watermaker membranes (SW) | 900 GPD: three short vessels 692 mm × 312 mm, local mount only on the stacked frame; 1200 GPD: two long vessels 1,162 mm × 231 mm, local mount on modular or stacked; 1800 GPD: three long vessels 1,160 mm × 314 mm, local only on stacked; 2200 GPD: four long vessels 1,162 mm × 419 mm, local only on stacked |

The XZ II is two systems sharing one touchscreen, so the plumbing follows both of Spot Zero's flow drawings (linked below): on the seawater side, clamshell inlet, seacock, sea strainer and a boost pump installed below the waterline on 3/4 in ID wire-reinforced hose, pre-filter, then the watermaker control unit, with 1/2 in OD membrane lines, 3/8 in OD product and a 1/2 in OD concentrate overboard run free and unrestricted; on the purifier side, dock feed through 3/4 in ID tubing to the FW pre-filter, or the watermaker product as feed, 1/2 in OD supply and return, 3/8 in OD product through the bacteriostatic remineraliser to the tank, and the fresh-water flush cartridge fed from the ship's pressurised fresh water through a check valve. Spot Zero's wiring diagram ED1002-01 shows the watermaker and purifier boards linked, a single-phase inlet supply, the high-pressure pump in the system enclosure, 24 V DC touch panel and optional remote panel, an optional NMEA 2000 bus and an optional ship's tank-level switch through a 24 V relay.
For larger yachts Spot Zero makes the XZ II-HD, a three-phase 50/60 Hz version in five combinations from 2,400 / 2,000 GPD to 6,000 / 5,000 GPD (seawater / purified), in a 940 mm × 544 mm × 633 mm frame. It is quoted separately; ask us.
All of these are listed in our Spot Zero parts section at Spot Zero's US list price, special order from the factory with the lead time confirmed before you pay; tell us the model and serial number and we will confirm the exact membrane size and count for your configuration.

Storage and controls
Fresh-water membranes sit in vessels closed with retaining plates (two M6 × 1.0 × 10 bolts, 5 mm Allen key) and are changed from the inlet end; the brine seal goes in last and is lubricated with a food-grade compound (Spot Zero recommends Molykote 111). Seawater membranes on the XTC II / XZ II side use 3/8 in quick-connect fittings on the end caps and three end-cap O-rings, which are replaced at every membrane change. New membranes ship in preservative and are flushed for at least 30 minutes with the product and concentrate discarded before the water is used.
If the boat is laid up, Spot Zero asks for the system to be run and flushed for five minutes once a month; if that is not possible, the membranes are preserved with Spot Zero's membrane storage chemical (one bottle per 5 US gallons / 18.9 L of purifier water, circulated with a chemical pump at no more than 30 psi and below 44 °C, renewed every three months). Recommissioning is a new pre-filter and a 30-minute flush to waste. The full procedure, with the freezing-climate version using propylene glycol, is in the membrane guide linked below.
Spot Zero publishes the drawings and manuals openly; these are the current versions we work from:
Spot Zero's US list price starts at US$32,000 for the XZ II. We quote per boat on the capacity combination and frame; freight to Thailand at cost, invoiced separately.
Spot Zero's next-generation combination range (Combo 1200/1000 to Combo 2200/3000, plus three-phase Super Yacht models) with Bluelink is listed as coming soon; the XZ II is the current model and is available now. See Spot Zero Water Maker + Purifier — next generation.
Spot Zero's standard limited warranty on built-in systems is 12 months or 1,000 hours, parts and labour (membranes, filters, seals and other consumables excluded). Spot Zero's extended warranties — Gold (+1 year/1,000 h, parts), Platinum (+2 years/2,000 h, parts) and Diamond (+2 years/2,000 h, parts and labour) — can be added at any time during the standard term; ask us for the current prices. Warranty cover applies in whichever country the fault occurs.
Drake Marine supplies Spot Zero as a factory-direct purchase with our support around it: we size the system to the hull and its tankage, specify the 50 Hz configuration for boats staying in the region, handle the technical questions with Fort Lauderdale, support commissioning on the dock or in the shed, register the warranty, and keep the filters, membranes and service parts on order from Thailand rather than on a ship from Florida each time. Freight is at cost and invoiced separately, so the price you see is the equipment.
Tell us the boat, the tankage and where she will be kept and we will size the system, confirm the 50 Hz configuration for Thailand and quote the equipment with the factory lead time: LINE @drakeco, WhatsApp +66 99 406 4680 หรือ อีเมล.
