Is it the right size for my boat?<\/h3>\n

Sleipner gives this 12 V, 1,000 W windlass a typical vessel size of under 15.2 m (50 ft). The 24 V, 1,500 W version<\/a> of the same windlass is rated for boats under 21.3 m (70 ft). Sleipner’s advice is to weigh the boat’s size and design, where the windlass will be mounted, and your anchoring conditions and ground tackle.
