Drake Marine is Thailand’s source for genuine Dr. Shrink boat shrink wrap — the international shrink wrap supplier used by boat yards worldwide. Film from 12′ to 60′ wide, heat tools, tapes, strapping, vents and everything between, shipped from Trang across Thailand and Asia.
The complete shrink wrap system
A proper shrink wrap job is a system: premium film sized to the hull, a strapping frame to carry it, heat tools to shrink it drum-tight, tape to seal it, and vents and access doors so the boat breathes. We supply all of it, plus moisture control for long-term lay-up.
Built for the tropics
Between monsoon rain, salt air and year-round UV, Thailand is hard on stored boats. Dr. Shrink film carries UV inhibitors rated for 12+ months of continuous exposure, and the white film reflects heat to keep temperatures down under the cover. For haul-out storage, island transport or project containment, it outlasts tarps by seasons.
Which film?
Premium shrink wrap in blue, white or clear covers most boats — 6 or 7 mil for storage, heavier gauges for transport and industrial work. Flame retardant film for yards with hot work nearby, VCI corrosion-inhibiting film for machinery, reinforced film for structures and long-span containment, and biodegradable EnviroShrink where disposal matters.

Boat shrink wrap kits, cost and transport wrapping
Doing one boat? The boat shrink wrap kit bundles film, tape and strapping for a single wrap — the simplest way to start. Wrapping for boat transport, use 7–8 mil film with reinforced strapping at the lift points. On cost: a typical 10–12 m boat uses one roll of film plus tape, strapping and vents — send the boat’s length and beam and we’ll quote the exact materials, usually within a working day.
